S. Senator) Bob Graham, Administrator of the highly regarded, nonpartisan Energy Information Administration at the U.S. Department of Energy during the Clinton administration, and Director for Research and Policy for President's Obama'sBP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Commission.  He speaks widely on contemporary energy issues and the modern presidency, combining both interests in his book, A Declaration of Energy Independence (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2008).  Hakes began his career teaching political science at the University of New Orleans and holds a Ph.D. from Duke University.  From 2000 to 2013, he served as Director of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum  in Atlanta.

We sincerely appreciate Dr. Hakes taking to time to visit our club to speak on "The Current Revolution in American Energy".  Dr. Hakes is a member of the RC of Atlanta.
