Midwest Food Bank (MFB), a faith-based, non-denominational nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, was started in 2003 when the Kieser family began providing food out of a building on their family farm.  MFB began by serving about 10 food pantries in McLean County, Illinois.   Today we serve approximately 700 organizations across the Midwest and Southeast from 5 locations; Bloomington, Peoria and Morton Illinois, Indianapolis, Indiana and Peachtree City, Georgia.  The food given out each month now reaches over 500,000 people.  The Georgia Division of Midwest Food Bank opened in October 2011 initially serving 9 food pantries in the Atlanta Metro area.  Today the Georgia Division serves 61 agencies in 19 counties in Georgia, reaching over 35,000 people monthly.
