Jim Williams, a Fayetteville resident is no stranger to municipal government in Fayette and Fulton counties, having served as city planner in Peachtree City from the late 1980's through 2002 and then as the Fairburn city administrator from 2002-2010.  The City of Chattahoochee Hills called Jim out of retirement in 2012, and he is still working there part-time as their City Manager.  Jim Williams was sworn in on January 2, 2014, holding Post 4 seat on the Fayetteville City Council.  
Jim is best described as a gentleman who knows what he is doing and doesn't need a playbook because he wrote the playbook.
